SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. Feeling any wiser? In simple terms, it is a method of ensuring your website is matched to words that would be used to find it when searching on the web through a search engine like Google / Yahoo / Bing etc. There are a lot more tricks involved in getting your site on the first page of a search engine, but that's another lesson.

Now you know what it is, what can you do about using SEO on your website to make sure people can find it? If you do manage you own website, ensure that you have all the meta keywords for your home page that you would use to search for your site, then get a bit more specific and use different keywords on the other pages of your website in order to tailor your site to slightly different audiences.
